Once Zhuang Zhou dreamed he was a butterfly,

a butterfly dancing happily among flowers.

He did not know he was Zhuang Zhou.

Suddenly he awoke.

Was he Zhuang Zhou who had dreamed of being a butterfly,

or a butterfly dreaming of being Zhuang Zhou?
